Weekly Challenge- Suggestions/ Redesign
Oct 02, 2013
Hi All,
Here is a "Weekly Challenge" for you- if anyone is interested.
I work for a medical device company and I'm looking for a flat" clean look for this rather boring material.
Most slides are extremely wordy and we also have very tight branding guidlines.
See primary color palette below.
RGB= 0/56/120
RGB= 83/183/232
RGB= 199/234/251
RGB= 110/153/52
RGB= 247/144/30
RGB= 105/107/115
Transparentcies.......any tint value between 35%-100% can be used
I continue to work with the SME to make more edits- but in the meantime......I've uploaded a genereic PPT deck for suggestions and or redesign.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Karyn

Hi Karyn,
We just recently had a similar post within the Community blogs here! You may also want to post on that side to get more feedback.
Hi Karyn,
This is a great idea for our Weekly Challenges. I'll move it up for this week's challenge
David
Are you looking for just a theme/template redesign?
Yes, thats would be great!
Hi Karyn -
We posted your template in this week's challenge. I've heard from a couple users who are already working out some ideas. They'll post on the blog whenever they have something to show.
Could we get some more info?
What is the size requirement for this?
Will this be used on mobile devices? What types - Tablets/phones?
Any requirements such as space for instructions, slide number count, title bar area?
Will you be using the player menu and next buttons or will you be creating your own navigation?
Hi Jerson,
You may also want to post those questions within the weekly challenge itself.
Thanks all. I really appreciate your time, your suggestions and great redesign ideas!
Love the Articulate community!
Happy to hear you got the help you need Karyn!

Hi Kate! Are you just popping in to share with the community or did you have a question?
I had done this a while ago and hadn't had a chance to post it-I was just sharing. Thanks for checking!

Hi Karen,
Just running through some old challenges so I thought I would give ELC 6 a try.

I am taking first stab at a challenge. However, I am having trouble publishing to "Review". I am attaching a copy of the zipped content. Can you let me know what I am doing wrong and please critique as much as you want. I welcome the criticism.
Thanks so much

Hi Michele,
Way to go on working on your first challenge!
I'm curious if you're getting an error when publishing to Review 360? I'd like to help you with that issue if possible.
In the meantime, you can use Tempshare to upload your content if needed, and here's an example of what that looks like here.
Hi Leslie
I think that was you who called me yesterday. Thanks so much. I finally got “Review” to work. However, I would appreciate any criticism you have on my first interaction.
Thanks and best regards

Glad to hear that publishing is working for you now, Michele.
I'm no instructional designer, so I'll leave the feedback to your peers here in the community.
It looks like your email signature came through when you replied via email. You can remove that if needed by clicking ‘Edit’ beneath your response. Here’s a quick Peek video if you need help.
