This must have happened overnight but when a Continue button is placed at the end of a module, it doesn't automatically progress to the next module. This now occurs with all courses I am actively and previously worked on, essentially breaking navigation. Is this a new feature or bug?170Views14likes11CommentsIn RISE, Learner receives both the Continue button and the Lesson prompt at the end of the lesson.
Learner receives both the Continue button and the Lesson prompt at the end of the lesson. I want just the Continue button to take the learner to the next lesson. Did something in RISE get updated? I don't recall having the learner presented with both the Continue button and the Lesson prompt to move to the next lesson. This is requiring 2 clicks from the learner, where it used to just require 1. I tried turning off Navigation and the Navigation button, but neither worked.36Views3likes2CommentsNeed search for words across all courses in Rise
I have about 50 courses, some with similar content. When something changes and I need to update the name of a department or tool, I'd like to be able to search all of my Rise courses for some keywords to find where I need to make updates. I understand that you can search individual courses or search the titles of all courses, but I need to search the words within all courses at the same time.22Views0likes3CommentsHow long will old Rise Preview links forward to newly created Quick Share links?
Hello, Our organization has a lot of Rise Preview links that we still use today for various reasons, projects, and customers. Moving forward, some of these links will be converted to the new Quick Share links (when updates need to be applied to their content) and some will remain as older Preview links if no updates are needed for a particular Rise course. That said, we noticed that when an old Preview link is converted to the new Quick Share link that the URL changes (however, the old Preview link URL still thankfully forwards to the new Quick Share link URL). A couple of questions about this: How long will old Rise Preview link URLs still forward to a newly created Quick Share link URL? If we never update an older Rise course, and continue to use the old Preview link for it that we created years ago, will we ever be forced to convert it to a Quick Share link at some point? Thank you in advance for any and all answers regarding this!26Views0likes1CommentCONTINUE Divider Block Not Working All of A Sudden
I'm hoping someone can get me a quick answer as I'm working with a tight deadline. I have a RISE lesson with multiple Storyline blocks separated by a CONTINUE divider. Each Storyline block ends with a COMPLETE LESSON block that activates the CONTINUE button which is set to complete block directly above. Up until about 2 hours ago, it was working fine. Now, the continue button activates when I click COMPLETE LESSON in the Storyline Block, but when I click the divider it jumps me backwards to the last page of the Storyline block. I checked my settings in Storyline. They're fine. This is happening on all of the lessons now. Is this a glitch? Please help.42Views3likes5CommentsRise Flashcard Activity - FONT size
I have several flashcard activities (duplicated for use again and again) but my problem is that the text size when highlighted and hovered over shows size 14 on all "back" of cards. however, the font appears very large in some instances and very small in others, with no consistency. You would think it's because some have more text than the other, but not the case. the ones with more text add a scroll bar and show a font larger than the 14 that is "appears" to be using. the font size on the next one without a scroll bar is tiny text, even though the font size also shows as 14. Has anybody seen this before? All cards on this attachment show font size 14 on back of card.140Views0likes14CommentsAllowed-Options Java Script File
Good morning! Last week, when publishing Rise files using the LMS option, I noticed a new "allowed-options" JavaScript file in the SCORM Content folder. In checking with my peers, no one knows what this new file is for. Can you please advise? Thank you very much for your help!76Views0likes7CommentsRise Course xAPI File Structure Change??
I'm creating courses in Rise 360 and publishing in xAPI (TinCan). The published xAPI file structure from 3 days ago is completely different to the file structure when republishing the same course today. In fact the new xAPI file structure contains "SCORM" files??? See images.268Views0likes16CommentsDisappearance of default underline formatting on hyperlinked text and URLs
Up until yesterday, any text that I hyperlinked would automatically format to the Theme colour and be underlined, by default. Today, the automatic underline formatting on text links has disappeared in all my Rise objects. And now all my text links are not immediately obvious to the eye because my Theme colour is a deep navy. Is this a bug in the latest release of Rise?Continue buttons disappear in Rise 360
Hi there all! I am getting support calls regarding an eLearning in Rise 360, and have been able to re-produce the issue myself. When a learner navigates to a block they have already completed, the continue buttons disappear from the navigation and forces them to go to the menu to navigate back to where they were. This is confusing for the learner and not very user friendly. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a solution for it?571Views0likes12Comments
