About
Ken Theriot
Ken Theriot is a singer, songwriter, audio engineer, music producer and voice over actor. After 20 years of recording experience and producing 12 CDs by 5 different artists for his label, Raven Boy Music, he branched out into voice over work - both as a voice actor and as an audio editor/producer. Several regular clients stemmed from jobs initially contracted through Voices.com. One such gig is producing all the voices for PIGTones (Politically Incorrect GPS Voices), a company that provides 3rd-party GPS voice replacements. Ken is the voice of several characters for PIGTones, including Stewie, The Devil, Santa, Yoda, and The Bronx Guy. In 2008, he became the audio producer for PIGTones, editing and producing all the voices in their catalog. Ken and his wife, Lisa Theriot were finalists for the 2009 Voicey Awards - Best Vocal Team. Later that year, Ken was chosen to be one of only a handful of voice over actors featured on the venture called "eLearningVoices.Com." Their website decribes the ELV team as: "A select group of the best, most experienced, e-learning voice talent on the planet." In 2009 he founded Home Brew Audio (http://homebrewaudio.co), a website dedicated to teaching others how to record professional audio with modest home recording studios. HBA currently has tons of articles, tutorials and tips for setting up and using a home recording studio at any budget, for both voice over and music recording. -
