Pamela Sackett
Pamela Sackett is the founding artist and director of Emotion Literacy Advocates (ELA), a non-profit organization that creates and produces learning tools incorporating language and visual arts, theatre, music and science to address cultural and environmental issues with social-emotional awareness. ELA's learning tools serve educational institutions, social service agencies and broadcast media. Pamela is the author of the theatrical monologue book series "Two Minutes to Shine" published and distributed by Samuel French, Inc., New York. She also authored three books of rhythmic prose, from which she performs excerpts in arts venues in Seattle, Canada and Mexico, for special interest conferences including the Family Policy Conference of Washington, the International Human Learning Resources Network and Innovations in Arts and Health Symposium. Her work has also been integrated into high school and college literature courses and university psychology programs. Pamela is the recipient of the 2013 Antioch University Distinguished Alumni Award. -
