I've created a slide and I want the user to click on a few different tabs that are highlighted with boxes to reveal what the tab is for. I have an "appear" animation set up in PPT, but, it doesn't work in the published Presenter file. All it does is show the information after a certain amount of time. I did read another thread that said to split the slides up but this would be really time consuming. Any updates on this? I have Articulate engage 13. I have checked the tutorials on this but did not find anything.
Unfortunately the only way to do what you're describing in Presenter is to put each tab on a separate slide and add hyperlinks on the tabs that link to the corresponding slide.
Have you thought about using one of the Engage interactions? They are super easy to build and they look really slick. There are 20 different types of interactions so I'm sure you can find one that fits your needs. Check out this page to see examples of each type.
If you don't find what you're looking for in Engage and you don't want to split up slides in Presenter, I would suggest considering upgrading to Storyline. This kind of interaction is super easy to build in Storyline, and you can really personalize it as much as you'd like.
