Engage Studio 360 - Labeled Graphic not mandatory

Jan 20, 2020

Hello,

I have created an animated image (labeled graphic)  where learners can get additional information about piece of the image.

However we don't want to have this mandatory so the markers are available if they need but they don't have to go through all of them or any of them if they do not need this? How can I build that in the settings?

Thanks for your help

Hello there, Cindy. Happy to explore a few approaches with you!

Will you be keeping this interaction within Engage 360 or importing it into another authoring app?

If the former, would the Interactive playback option work for your design? With it enabled, learners can freely navigate in any order. If you choose this playback mode, you'll also have the option to Show previous/next buttons on the player. Another idea is to change the default swirl animation of the markers to None to not stress its importance.

I created this short recording of how those settings look!

Excited to continue our conversation!
