After I finish a project, I would like to publish to word so I can send it to my translator, however what happens is just the front of the slides and my ppt slides publish, i do not get any of the layers i have built into engage. So i have started to go into each interaction and publish from inside each to get all the layers, I think it work once but only for a few of them, now it will not publish any of my full interactions to word at all and sends an error message saying it has to close immediately... can some one help!!!
If you've inserted Engage interactions into your Presenter course, when you choose to publish to Word those pieces will not appear, this is expected behavior as described at the bottom of this article.
If publish to Word is crashing while in Engage some things to double check:
1. Please make sure that you are working on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.
2. You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).
3.Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names.
Is there any chance of this being fixed in the next version? Although it's "expected" it doesn't make a lot of sense - it can be really fiddly having to publish all the word docs separately and then copy them in to the main storyboard, and adds significantly to the time taken to produce a storyboard for stakeholders. However I haven't found a better way yet, as I want them to be able to mark up content which is impossible in an online format.
We don't share information in regards to when new versions or what features may be released, but you're welcome and encouraged to share your thoughts on this functionality in the form of a feature request here.

Sorry for not getting to you sooner, I was off on Friday.
Are you able to share your Presenter and Engage files by submitting it to our Support team so that we can take a look? You'll want to follow these directions to package your Presenter files.
