Problem with flipbook template

Jun 13, 2014

Has anyone experienced problems with the transition of the flipbook template "sticking" so there are multiple pages showing? I have attached an image of what I am talking about.

Does anyone know of a "fix" to the problem?

Thanks for any help.

Hi Jennifer,

Welcome to E-Learning Heroes!

From what I can see, it looks like you're using Engage '13 and you're previewing the interaction. Is that correct, or is this a published version?

If this is happening when you preview, can you let us know if this also happens after you've published and uploaded to a server for testing?

Here are a couple of things that may help with the display of the interaction:

When working on a project, or previewing, make sure you're working with local project files:

  • Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.
  • You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).
  • Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names (this includes spaces and underscores).

Additional information regarding "Naming Files, Paths, and Namespaces" in Windows operating systems can be found in the following Microsoft article.

You may also want to check your system DPI, to see if that may be causing the interaction to display incorrectly:

Articulate Support - Articulate Engage '09 DPI support

^The above article is for '09, but may still help if you're using '13.

If you still have trouble, you're welcome to attach your Engage interaction here by sharing the .INTR file. Please just keep in mind that the max file size for the forums is 20MB.

Let me know if you have any questions, or trouble with this.

Christine
