Pyramid - build from bottom

Hello. I am trying to build an Engage interaction using the Pyramid structure. I have built my interaction to build from the bottom up (I set the 'segment order' in the 'Interaction Properties' menu). It works correctly when I am in preview mode, but when I export to web, my interaction begins at the top of the pyramid! My second problem is that, after export, my "previous" button begins to work inconsistently. If I immediately use the previous button, I can see the other three levels of the pyramid (using the buttons). But if I immediately use the "next" button, I get locked into ONLY being able to see the top of the pyramid and the summary page (again, using the buttons).
