Does anyone know how to shorten the amount of time an engagement plays? I find that my engagement plays too long on the last part and it won't let users skip until the timer has finished.
You can change the Playback mode of your Engage interactions as shown below (from the Interaction properties button):
Depending on what you have set up, you may want to allow the user to advance on their own, or check the audio/video files length to see if there is any "silence" at the end of the audio/video you could cut out if you've set it up for Presentation style.
That would only work if I set up the interaction to advance on its own. I want users to control which buttons they can press to allow them to go in any order. In addition, some people read faster than otheres. Therefore, progressing automatically could be counterproductive.
So you currently have it set up to be "Interactive" with the prev/next buttons included? Are you unable to click ahead using those? If so, can you share your Engage file here with us so that we can take a look, or if you'd prefer to share it privately you can also send it here.
