ADOBE CONNECT LMS PUBLISHED UPLOAD URL FAILURES

Apr 21, 2013

Hello forum

I am new to Articulate and have a major inability to have my published LMS uploads to Adobe Connect generated URL to work. My clients are unable to play any Adobe Connect uploaded Articulate Published work except within Adobe.

An error message is generated by all browsers across all finished work. Articulate top tier can run and published LMS file and run it on SCORM test.

I have Adobe top Tech team also attempting to resolve the issue for over 2 weeks.

Has anyone in the forum had this issue with LMS uploads to Adobe connect and the URL will not launch in any browser? (Error 3 -  Invalid Session ID)

Thanks for any insights yo may have.

Hi Grady,

Have you been able to try testing your course in SCORM Cloud to help us determine if the issue is Articulate-related or if it's on your LMS's side?

If you're not able to view the course in SCORM Cloud either, we'd be happy to take a closer look at what might be going on. If you can't replicate the issue in SCORM Cloud, it's probably an issue that you'd want to take to your LMS team.

The articles here and here may also help clear up common LMS issues.

Let us know how it goes...

Thanks, Grady!

Peter,

Thank you for your reply. Very much appreciated!

The Articulate team had me upload a powerpoint for testing and publishing. They upload to SCORM Cloud and it performed. What I did not receive from the team to my recall was if I uploaded a Published LMS to load into SCORM or just my PowerPoint they Published inhouse and uploaded to SCORM.

I have a series of files that have been delayed for a month with no resolution or suggested alternative to get to my clients. Adobe has had the problem for two weeks so far and have not reported back on the cause (top tier Enterprise Tech Team).

Peter, if you have any temporary alternatives for posting and alternative URL, I am open.

Hi Grady,

Thanks for the information on your case. I see that Vira did in fact test your course on SCORM Cloud successfully, meaning it's almost certainly an issue with your LMS provider.

As far as giving your users a link to the course in the meantime, here are some low-cost LMS you might want to consider:

Or if you don't need to track your users' progress, you could always use Tempshare as a temporary hosting solution as well.
