AICC Help!

Jun 23, 2016

Hello,

My co-worker and I are testing out a new AICC course that was created in Articulate Studio 13, and we are having some issues. I'm hoping someone can help.

Problem 1: She created an AICC course in the LMS and linked the correct file. She made a change to the content, published it in Articulate again, then replaced the course files in our FTP server. We did not touch the course in the LMS. When I launch it, I see the updated course. However, when she launches it (after clearing our her browser history, logging off and logging back in), she is still seeing the old course.

Problem 2: My co-worker would like students who complete her course to be marked complete, whether or not they pass. When the AICC course was created, we used Passed/Failed under the Published menu, then went back and republished the course as Completed/Incomplete. Neither one is allowing the course to be completed.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you so much!!!!

Hi, Kati -- Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear of your difficulties! May I ask if you are also finding the same behavior when you test your course via the SCORM Cloud? Here is some info on How to Test AICC Content in SCORM Cloud. And also, would you be able to share the name of your LMS, as well, in case there are others here in the community who use the same service and an weigh in with their experiences?

Sure thing, Kati!  :)

I also wanted to mention in case you were not aware, when you reply to a forum notification via email, the details in your signature are visible publicly in the forum post. Please feel free to click here to be take to the thread itself, and you will be able to use the EDIT button below your reply to remove that info if you wish.

No problem at all, and may I say officially, Welcome to the E-Learning Heroes Community, Kati! (And a lot of members do not know that their signatures are shared in the forum if they reply via email, so we always like to mention it in an effort to help protect your privacy). :)

And speaking of being new to the community, I'm not sure what your experience level is with Presenter'13, but I thought I might pass along the following resources that might be of interest:
