Just like another user I have this problem - but with a difference at the end:
When the user fails the quiz, they are redirected back to the content relating to the quiz and then have to retake the quiz and pass it in order to move forward.
Working: If they fail and click FINISH, it redirects them back to the beginning of the course and allows them to choose the areas they need to review from the Menu.
Problem: When they return to the quiz to retake it, it is showing the results page. It is not returning the quiz to its initial state.
I've read several discussions and have adjusted the following: Player Properties set at "Prompt to Resume"; Results Slide Options set on the Failure Feedback Layers to "Allow User to Retry Quiz" (unlimited)
If you are utilizing Presenter '13, this is the expected behavior.
To let learners retry a quiz, you must use a graded result slide, and mark the box to "Allow user to retry quiz" on the Failure and/or Success layers. See this article for more information.
The problem is that they are taken to the RESULTS screen when they click on the TEST link from within the Presenter Menu. It doesn't take them to the first quiz question - they have to click on the "Retry Quiz" button to reset the quiz.
I want the learner to review the material BEFORE trying the test again. My instructions tell the user to "...click on the TEST link in the TOC to return to this screen." I really want the instructions to read "....TOC to retake the quiz." This is my "workaround" since it's not taking them to the first question.

As the documentation states, the user must utilize the retry option on the results screen in order to re-take the quiz.

Hi Leslie:
Yes, I have it set for "Unlimited" retries.
The problem is that they are taken to the RESULTS screen when they click on the TEST link from within the Presenter Menu. It doesn't take them to the first quiz question - they have to click on the "Retry Quiz" button to reset the quiz.

Okay, nevermind. I'll use my workaround
