Audio Import not working

I've imported several audio clips already, with no problem, but now when I click on Import Audio, my slides are not shown... There's just a pink box at the top of the pop up screen with two #'s, and no slides listed below. I've opened a couple of different presentations to see if it's that particular powerpoint that has an issue, but I am getting the same thing in all of them. I've attached the screen shot to show what I mean.
Help! I have hundreds of audio clips to import!

Hi Pam,
It sounds like the "Communicator" add-in might've become disabled in PowerPoint. Here's an article that describes how to reenable it: Enable disabled items in PowerPoint
Hmmm... Checked that but it looks like it's active - here's the screenshot of that... Am I missing something?
The add-in is the usual suspect. Here's another article that addresses specifically the missing thumbnails:
Slide thumbnails do not display properly in the Audio Editor
Thanks David... but that setting is already there... any other ideas?
HI Pam - do you mind restarting your computer to see if that helps? You've confirmed your add-ins are enabled and your PowerPoint slide numbering begins with slide #1 so a reboot might be worth trying.
Hi Pam,
The Import Audio screen that you're seeing will occur if there are multiple AP6.exe processes running. This is typically caused by PowerPoint crashing, not closing any open add-ins, & then reopening PowerPoint. You can resolve the issue by restarting your machine.
Huge Thank you! I don't know why I didn't think of that... it is always the first thing I should try! It's working now - Thanks Brian and David. I really appreciate your speedy response!
