Branching vs Results Slide in Quizmaker 13
Mar 27, 2015
I am trying to make a Matching Drag and Drop "exercise" that allows the user TWO tries to get the correct matches.
Upon failure of the second attempt I do NOT want them to see the results slide with correct answers, I want them to branch back to the beginning of the section to re-review the material. After that they get another opportunity to go through the exercise. This time they are allowed to review the answers after the "fourth" failed attempt.
My problem: I can't figure out how to prevent them from seeing the results slide after the second failure. It shows the answers THEN branches back to the section to re-review. I want it to branch BEFORE showing the answers. If I disable the results options, then they won't be able to see the correct answers after attempting the exercise the "fourth" time.

Hi Sonya,
If I've understood your question correctly, I believe that all you need to do is adjust the branching options on the incorrect feedback layer (see screenshot).
Does that answer your question?
Actually I've got that part right. I am struggling with making the quiz BYPASS the results screen after the second attempt, then showing it after the fourth attempt.
Ah ok I see what you mean. Unfortunately I don't think that is going to be possible in Quizmaker. However, this is something that you could accomplish with Storyline, with the use of variables.
Okay, thanks Allison!
