Can't add multiple annotations

Jun 18, 2013

It seems that the behavior of Presenter 9 has changed since I licensed the product.  This could be total coincidence, though.  When I was doing annotations before, I was able to highlight multiple sections.  But now...as soon as I highlight the second section, the first one is cleared.  Is there a setting somewhere to drive this behavior.  I have to admit that the initial setting drove me crazy, at times, since I couldn't control the behavior.  But there are scenarios where you might want one behavior vs. the other.  It would be cool if we had more control over the annotations; e.g., be able to sync them like animations.

Thanks, Steve

Hi Steven,

Thanks for your post. Yes, there is a way to control whether one annotation shows up at a time or all the annotations show up as the slide loads. When you click on the Add Annotation tool within the Articulate Tab in PowerPoint, your working window is created allowing you add annotations to your slide. Within that ribbon there is a section of the menu called Annotations. There you should see an icon with one arrow and an icon with three arrows. The former allows one annotation to appear on a slide at a time (as another appears the previous one disappears) while the latter allows all the annotations to remain. I've added a screen cap to point out this section.

I hope that helps.
