I may be misunderstanding exactly which text you are hoping to change. Are you able to post a screenshot of the text you are hoping to change? If I'm understanding you correctly, I think the the color of the text you want to change is actually controlled by the parameter for Unviewed Slide Titles. You can change that by using the steps shown in this tutorial:
If you change that color, it'll affect the unviewed slide titles in your sidebar, the text in the title bar, the text of any player tabs on the upper edge of your course player, and the name & title of the presenter if you've included a presenter panel in your sidebar.
The text I have highlighted in the red box is what we are trying to change. The key area that we are trying to change is where it says "ATTACHMENTS", as we are also adding more tabs to our presentation that will sit next to Attachments. Can you please let me know how to change the colour of that text.

Hi Simone!
Take a peek at Jeanette's response to a similar question in this older thread:

The answer is basically yes, and it's done through the color scheme editor, but it may also affect other areas of your player. Good luck!
Hi,
Thanks we have tried that.
What element of the colour scheme editor do we change to get that text colour changed? The Tool Bar options are only for gradient changes.
Thanks
Simone
Hi Simone,
Did you happen to see this workaround?:

Hi Peter,
We have also tried that, or something similar does not come up in the text.
The word "color" or "colour" does not appear at all.
I'd recommend submitting a feature request to make this option available in future builds:

Thanks for your input!
Hi Peter,
Does this mean that it cannot be done?

Hi Simone,
That got me too - the option to change that text is Slide List Colours - Unviewed Slide Titles.
Cheers
Sarah.
Hi Simone. As per Peter said above, the colour is controlled by the parameter Unviewed Slide Titles in editing the colour schemes.
Great that finally worked! Thank you so much for your help.
