Chrome Issues

Jan 17, 2014

I created a bunch of powerpoint about a month ago that were working fine. They are no longer working correctly. Chrome is the only browser that the issues are happening.

1. When the audio stops for a slide and I click next the buttons are deactivated. Both the next and the previous buttons stop working.

2. If i click previous button it clears my slide of content. the background is still there but the test disappears.

(My theory with this this is that the animation on the slide isn''t working. Each slide has a fade in but the background of the slide is doesn't go away.)

3. If you refresh the browser the audio will stops work

Here is a link to the PPT that is being hosted.

Hi Tiffany,

I've tested with Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari and Maxthon. The course seemed to work properly in IE, Firefox and Mathon, but I had no audio in Safari (but that may be due to the fact that I have an early version).

I was unable to make it past the first slide in Google Chrome 26. Using the seekbar's "reload" option, I also heard no audio.

I just took a quick look and I was able to find a support case you submitted for this issue. The case number, for my reference, is 00379570.

I see that Wilbert is already working with you on this and that you've sent your files to him for review. He's currently testing your files and should be in contact with you soon.

Thanks, Tiffany!

I am still not sure how to fix this problem still. I am not sure if it has to do with chrome or really what. I haven't heard back from Wilbert in awhile.  The project works fine when I test it from the folder that articulate gives me but once i upload it to the server it no longer works right. I also tested one that Wilbert put on his server and that one did the same thing for me.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Tiffany

Hi Tiffany! I popped in to see what was going on with your case (00379570). It looks as though this was reported to our QA Team and there is no update to provide at this time. I can see where Wilbert has it in queue to follow up with you when he is provided an update

It has been reported as an issue specific to Chrome, but I do not see any update to provide at this time.
