Control of PPT animation
Jul 16, 2015
Hello,
I'm converting a PPT presentation to SCORM using Presenter 13, and couldn't find an option in the viewer that would let the user control the PPT animations.
What I mean by control is that on the PPT slide with the animation, I want the user to click on "Next" to animate the PPT. Here the Next and Previous buttons are to switch from one slide to another, and to view the animation, I need to click on the "Play" icon, and wait until all animations are displayed, I can only pause to stop at some points, but can not really control animations.
Am I missing some settings or is this feature simply not available in Presenter 13 ?
Thanks,
Laurence

Hi, Laurence - To the best of my knowledge, there is not a way to do this, but you are welcome to share your thoughts with our Product Development Team using this Feature Request Form. And perhaps some members of the community can chime in with some design suggestions to assist.
Hi Christie,
Thanks for the reply, I'll submit a feature request (note that concurrent solutions of Presenter do have this feature).
The only workaround we could think of here were to split our animations into separate PPT slides (but this makes a lot of slides for complex animations, so difficult to mainain).

Hi, Laurence -- Thanks in advance for submitting the feature request, and for sharing the workaround you discovered for anyone else who may come across this thread in the future.
