Difference in color palettes

I created a sidebar video in Flash CS5 and used a background color of #000000. I used the same hexi color for the background of the Articulate Presenter and when I go to view this particular slide the background of the sidebar video ends up being a gray color.

When publishing the video from Flash the settings are ActionScript 2.0 and FlashPlayer10 (I also tried downgrading the player to 8 but gave me the same result). Any one have an idea as to why this occurs?

EDIT: Keep in mind when viewing the SWF file in FlashPlayer the background is black so I'm thinking that there must be something in Articulate to cause it to change to gray.
