Font issue

Hi
I'm new here and needing a quick answer, so apologies if this question has appeared many times with as many answers!
In the published/preview version of Presenter, a font that's installed on my machines and appears with no problem in PowerPoint appears with dots replacing the apostrophes, and other strange corruptions of the punctuation.
Any ideas? I'm bound to be doing something wrong...

Hi Anne,
Can you tell me what font you're using? Also, are you trying to publish a foreign language?
Hi Brian
Sorry not to reply sooner; still getting to grips with this forum business!
The font is Barmeno. I need to use it because it's the client's main heading font (the other being Franklin Gothic, with which I have no problems). And, no - it's in British English!
Thank you
Hi Anne,
I would suggest you submit a case by following the steps below.
Please create an Articulate Presenter package, then upload the zip file to our server. You can review how to do this here:
Send to Articulate Presenter Package – Articulate Presenter ’09 Help
Upload the resulting zip file from your computer to our server using this upload form:
Articulate Support - Upload Your Files for Review
Please be sure to include a description of your issue, your version of PowerPoint, version of Windows and version of Presenter '09 which you can find in Help and Support -> About Articulate Presenter. Please also include the URL for this thread so we can follow up with you in the forums.
Hi Brian
Thanks for the advice. Will do this tomorrow when I have a little more time!
Did anyone end up resolving this issue? I'm having the same problem.
Hi Tracy
No - I ended up replacing the rogue punctuation with another slightly similar font; no one seemed to notice!
Either that, or you can make a picture of the necessary punctuation in PowerPoint and insert it as a graphic (which seems, frankly, a solution that's out of the Ark!)

I figured out a solution to the problem I was having. I was using a PostScript font and realized that Articulate was able to read the font, but didn't really like it (strange characters for the apostrophes and quotation marks; font didn't show up as an option in the Quiz template). I had a TrueType version of the same font, so I replaced all instances of the PostScript version with the TrueType and that solved the issue right away.
Thanks for the reply!
Hello everybody,
Im new here, I am translating a file in articulate storyline to chinese, and a font style that I need to use is HanWang, but when I installed in my pc, it won't work or be recognized in the storyline but it does work in microsoft word, is there settings that I need to do in the articulate storyline so the font will be recognize? or there are just font that will not work in the storyline.
Please help.
Thanks,
Hi Christine and welcome to the Heroes Community!
I'm not familiar with that font, but all fonts that you have installed on your computer should work within Storyline. You may need to restart Storyline after installing the font. If it's still not working, it may be something specific to that font that I'm not familiar with and I'd have you submit a Support case so that we could take a better look.
