Getting Updates in a Corporate Environment - Articulate 13

Sep 24, 2015

As with many large companies, the company I work for has firewalls and an IS department that manages security and updates to the most commonly used software. Because the Articulate Suite 13 is used by only a small department, those updates seem to be blocked. One discussion suggested uninstalling and reinstalling, but that is not as easy for us since we dont have administrative rights to our devices.

We could use some help managing the updates.

One of the first issues is that when we click Check for Updates, the response is "There are no updates available at this time." but we are behind in both Updates and Builds. (Articulate Suite we are on Update 3: Build 1407.1717 while the site says the most recent is Update 7 - Build 1509.1618)

Is there some way we can work through this on our own, or will we have to go through an IS request locally every time there is an update?

What have other users of Articulate done when working though local firewalls and IS departments?
