How can I change hyperlink text color?

Apr 08, 2011

I am new to the Articulate game and just created my first tutorial using Presenter. That part was easy, but I have two hyperlinks in the text, both of which came out light blue on a white background -- essentially invisible. I have not been able to figure out how to make them dark enough to stand out. Help!

You should be able to change it in powerpoint (2007/ 2010) like this:

  1. On the Design tab, in the Themes group, click Colors, and then click Create New Theme Colors. (or edit a theme if you already have one there)
  2. In the Create New Theme Colors dialog box, under Theme colors, do one of the following:
    • To change the color of hyperlink text, click the arrow next to Hyperlink, and then select a color.
    • To change the color of followed hyperlink text, click the arrow next toFollowed Hyperlink, and then select a color.

NOTE   For additional color choices, click More Colors.

  1. Click Save.

That solved it ... although I had to experiment with the color themes until I found one that gave me the background and hyperlink colors I needed. I am also (reluctantly) trying to learn PowerPoint after being a life-long die-hard WordPerfect/Corel fan. I still think Corel has superior programs but so far there's no Articulate add-on for it. Maybe I need to start protesting!
