How can I publish Presenter's content as a video file and upload it to YouTube? Can I use the video in a mobile app?

Mar 26, 2015

Hi all,

I'm new to ARTICULATE Presenter. After watching the tutorial, I'm still confused about the file format of the final outcome. Is it a ppta. file or a video? I was wondering if it is possible to publish the content as a video that could be uploaded to YouTube. If so, what format is that file in?

I also want to use it in an mobile app. How can I do that?

Thanks!

Hi Liz,

For use in a mobile app, you will want to publish using the Articulate Mobile App, the you can download the app from the App store in iTunes, orĀ google apps. Using a custom app would not be supported.

There is not a way to save the published file as a video. It will be saved as a published output folder, with all the necessary files, and then you can zip this to be loaded into a web server or an LMS. You can publish for local viewing as well, and then you would use the .html file for viewing.

Here is a tutorial on how to load the published contentĀ into a website.
