I added a hyperlink and when users open it, the elearning that is linked opens in the Articulate player vs. a separate window and the user is not able to get back to the original elearning.
Are you inserting a hyperlink via a web object? If so, you can set it so that it opens and displays in the slide instead of opening in another window. See this tutorial:

I wasn't inserting as a web object - I was inserting as a hyperlink. This is strange because it has worked previously and now it doesn't.
I will try the web object - but still something funky is happening with my original.
