I need help with an audio issue:
May 14, 2013
I've published several courses as CD courses, and when doing so, it seems to strip the audio from the PPTA file.
I've gone in several minutes later and the audio is simply gone. Everything else is there when previewing from the PPT file accept the audio. When I open the audio editor there is no audio there either.
Is there a way to re-import the audio from the published CD version to the original PPT or PPTa file so that I don't have to re-record?
Thanks for any assistance.

Welcome to the community, Robert!
That does sound strange. Did anything happen when you were publishing for CD? Any crashes or error messages?
You may want to take a look at the following article and see if the suggestions provided help with restoring your audio:
Articulate Support - Audio is missing or lost in published Presenter '09 presentation
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks and welcome again,
Christine
Thanks for the reply Christine,
I've read up on the link you sent. Thanks for that, good for future work.
There weren't any warnings or failure notices or anything. It just dumped the audio when I did the CD publish.
Looks like I'll just have to re-record at this point.
Cheers,
Robert.
Good morning Robert,
So sorry for the trouble. I certainly hope it works out on the next recording.
If you have any other trouble, please just let me know.
Thanks very much and good luck with the project!
Christine
