I getting the iContent entitlement service is down when trying to access the training from a VMware, but the same training is working fine is I run it from my desktop. any ideas what could be wrong? this VMware is for our customers and they need to be able to use LMS from there.

Seems like you may be asking the community for assistance here as iContent/VMWare is not something that I would be able to assist with.
Hopefully someone in the community has some knowledge with this setup and will be able to chime in and assist.
