Import audio with cue points
Jun 23, 2015
We are localizing Presenter courses and, as previous posts have identified, Presenter is very limited in this area - the Articulate team have thought about localizing the on-screen content in a course but seem to have overlooked the other components, such as audio.
Nearly all courses we work with use cue markers linked to audio content. When localizing it is not feasible to have the cue markers added by a native speaker within Presenter. This is also not a desirable method even if it were feasible as it has a huge impact on the time and effort required. Ordinarily the audio is recorded offsite and the localized audio files replace the source English audio files.
Is it possible to set cue markers in the audio files during the recording and have these appear in Presenter when the audio is imported? What other methods are available for setting cue markers besides doing it in Presenter?

Hi Rebecca,
There isn't another way to set the audio cue points that Presenter will be able to read and utilize - so I'll defer to the community's expertise here in terms of how they've set it up in other scenarios.
