Inserting photo as a charactor

The PNG format will work the best. You could save it as a TIFF with Alpha channels, but then the file would be extremely large.

Thanks for you feedback. It's been awhile since I had to deal with photos and Presenter, all video, lately.

So my question to you is, is there any reason to shoot against green screen for a key, for a alpha channel, as in video? In other words, how do I have a cutout of my photo character that I can place in the slide?

Hello Gregory, once you have your pictures, you will have to use Some graphics software tool like Photoshop to remove the green background, and save your png file.

Within Storyline 2, previously I could insert photographic characters.  But today, I could only access one photographic character.  What am I missing?  Why cannot I see other characters? Thanks,

Hi Indrani! Sorry you've run into an issue with that. Are you using a different computer or did you have to re-install perhaps? If you still have your e-mails, you are welcome to install following the directions here. If you do not have this, you should reach out to our support team for assistance.

Thanks for responding. Actually I am using the same computer, and the software was reinstalled few months back when my computer was reimaged.

The character packs are a different install than the software. Sounds like you must have purchased extra if you previously were able to use more :) We no longer offer these packages, but support can confirm purchase and share the download link with you. Just reach out here.

Interesting, if we had paid extra to access these characters, should not I be able to access them with the same serial number? I know I had used multiple characters before. However after my computer was reimaged, and I needed to reinstall all software seems like I lost these characters. I will reach out to support. Thank you so much.

Yes, please reach out. They can verify and get you in the right place.

I know it sounds confusing, but the characters are not tied to your serial number, it is a different download/serial number :) When your computer was re-imaged must be when you lost them installing the software would not add them back in.
