Issues with Articulate Presenter's Player "Size" & More

Jan 12, 2022

Hi, I need help on Articulate Publisher! I would like to have the same “result” once the module published, whether i use Storyline or Presenter.

About the slides “style” > no issues, i can replicate the same template style in PowerPoint and Storyline.

About the Player > I have issues on the Articulate Presenter Player:

@Storyline, i have no issues. My slide size is 1920 x 1080. The player “adapts” to this resolution. I just had to switch back to the “Classic”, as the “Modern” player is not available in Presenter.
@Presenter i’ve changed the slides size to 1920 x 1080 (in PowerPoint). > In the Player options, i’ve first selected “Browser size > Resize browser to optimal size” “Player size: Scale player to fill browser window”: the player is very big, like it’s still with the “default” resolution of 720 x 405. > In the Player options, I’ve then selected “Player size: Lock player at optimal size”. On “big screens” (where resolution is bigger than 1920 x 1080), it’s OK. But if resolution is smaller, scrollbars appears, which makes it difficult to navigate in the module...
I have a workaround, which consists in putting the resolution in Storyline back to 720 * 405. But still, i would like to set up my resolution to 1920 x 1080.

Does anyone have a solution for this issue?

About the Slides Quality >

@Presenter > Once published, the module quality is very poor (the images are in very low quality, i’ve created a table in PowerPoint with cells filled with gradient colors, again the quality is impacted and is low...). Any clue on how to solve this quality issue?

Thank you very much for your help,

P.

PS: i've added 2 screenshots about the "player size" issue.

Hi Jérôme, and thanks for reaching out!

I appreciate you taking the time to share that you'd like to see an updated player in Presenter. Presenter and Storyline are two different products, and Presenter is indeed working as designed, as described in Pierre's post.

I see that you’ve reached out to our Support Engineers and are working with my teammate, Robert. We'll continue the conversation in your support case should you need further assistance!
