Linking with Moodle

Sep 09, 2014

Dear all,

I am using Articulate Studio Version 13 and Moodle 2.6.2+ (Build: 20140422).

My coursewares were outputed with scorm 1.2 standard, and keeping track if the course is completed or not. And it works well in most of the time.

However, occasionally, some learners report that even if they complete the courseware, the "completion" status is also "incomplete".

When I check the SCO Tracking information in Moodle, I found the details below:-

cmi.core.exit suspend
cmi.core.lesson_status failed
cmi.core.score.max 100
cmi.core.score.min 0
cmi.core.score.raw 0
cmi.core.total_time 5 分鐘 4.51 秒
cmi.suspend_data 2h187080a030on1001015f0101101013010150000l0j03vP500210810101010000000000020020040010

Does anyone knows what is going on? It is very annoying as it happens randomly and from time to time. Any ideas? Thank you!

Yw, Foot.

Yep, that was my problem as well. Here's what I did to fix it on my end:

  1. Set SCO to track slides viewed in one presentation. In another, I added a quick no-brainer quiz.
  2. Deleted all existing published courses on my local, republished and saved on a different file name.
  3. Changed grade settings: learning object on one course and highest grade on the other.
  4. Deleted all existing user attempts.

That fixed it on my end. Also, you may want to confirm the course completion settings.

Cheers!
