When I publish my course created with Articulate '09, and upload the .zip on Moodle, the links to attached files don't work. It displays the following error message on Moodle : "Sorry, the requested file could not be found."
But if I view the course within Articulate, the file link works correctly. (I linked to file w/ path data/downlaods/"file name").
Any ideas where the disconnect is happening between Articulate & Moodle??
Hello and welcome to the forums! A relative path will not work if you are using PowerPoint 2007 or 2010 due to a bug in PowerPoint. Your best bet would be to use the Attachments feature only or follow the steps here under hyperlink to an existing file:
Thanks so much for your replies!!! Justin- I followed the hyperlink instructions that you included and it worked beautifully when published and viewed locally. However, when I opened it within Moodle, I'm still getting the "file not found" error.
Phil- I double-checked & it appears I'm case sensitive.
It should work, I am happy to test on my moodle site, if you send me a copy of your slide with the hyperlink on in ppt and the location of the file so i can replicate it
It worked! It worked! Many thanks to you both Phil & Justin... I'm so grateful for a great support community!!!
Phil- I was about to send you my slide, but wanted to go through the hyperlinking steps that Justin sent one more time so I could tell you exactly what I did. And VOILA it worked! Maybe I just needed a fresh try this morning

I would also make sure you are case sensitive, although windows is not, the linux server your moodle is likely to be hosted on definitely is
