I've been having a ton of trouble getting a course into our LMS, and I just noticed that in the folder with the published files, there is only a data folder - no LMS or player folders like there usually are. Does anyone know the reason why they wouldn't be there? I suspect that it's the reason why my LMS is saying that the page cannot be found after I try to preview the course (which successfully imports).
Thanks!
Amanda
P.S. If it's helpful, the presentation is 1 slide which contains a 47 minute long video.
Hi Amanda! I'm not sure that I'm completely following as it sounds like you're saying that you cannot get a course to your LMS, then saying course successfully imports?
Please be sure that you are publishing your course to your LMS following these directions.
If you view published Articulate Presenter content on your local hard drive or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive, you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features to fail. To test your content and share it with others, you'll need to upload it to the environment for which it was published. Here's how.
Sorry for being unclear. The LMS says that the course successfully imported, but when I preview it, I get an error message saying that the page cannot be found. I am publishing it correctly and have published plenty of courses before this, but have never had this problem. I don't know much about what happens in the publication process, but for all of the other courses I've done, I have had 3 sub-folders within my published folder (lms, data, and player). With this publication, I've only got the data folder. I attached a picture of what the published folder looks like. Do you know why I would be missing the lms and player folders?
Will you try publishing it to a new directory and making sure that your directory is located on your C: drive? And also, make sure that the directory path is shorter than 256 characters. Let me know if you continue to have issues.
Publishing it to a new directory worked. Thank you!! Do you know why it would make a difference for this course but not for any of the other courses we have done?

I also tried publishing it to my local drive and no luck.

I do not Amanda, but we always recommend using your local drive to prevent 'erratic' behavior
