LMS tracking using number of slides viewed

Nov 14, 2011

Hello,

I'm trying to publish a presentation to the LMS Saba 5.5, using number of slides viewed.

I selected 'Track using number of slides viewed',

Minimum number of slides viewed to complete: 12 out of 12.

In the LMS, I put the master score: 100, for 100%

I have tried this with different options of 'Report status to LMS as': Passed/Incomplete, Complete/Incomplete, Passed/Failed.

However, after I went through all 12 slides of the presentation, slide by slide, my result was not recorded correctly. The course was still marked as incomplete for me.

Does someone know how I might be able to fix this issue? Thank you very much in advance!

Hi Charles,

Thank you very much for the suggestion. I tried it and uploaded a new SCORM package but it still didn't work.

In SABA, the completion status is still 'Not Evaluated'.

I also tried the suggestion in the following link but it didn't work either:

I've just tried again to re-test the original SCORM package that I had uploaded and got 'Not Evaluated' status before, and now I got the Completion Status as 'Successful' for that package. I'm not sure why. I'll try to re-test several more times to see if I can replicate the results.

I also noted that for these packages,  the SCORM packages passed the correct completion value 'completed' to the LMS, but somehow the the completion status for the course was still 'Not Evaluated', i.e. the course still stays in the Enrolments and not moved to the transcript.

Any additional insights would be appreciated. I'll also try the suggestions in this thread:
