Localization Languages

Apr 05, 2013

Hey Articulate Gurus! I'm getting ready to localize a series of courses (built in Articulate Studio) into the following languages:

·         Simplified Chinese

·         Japanese

·         Korean

·         German

·         French

·         Russian

·         Colombian Spanish

·         Brazilian Portuguese

The Articulate player, as well as the presentations, will be localized. Any words of advice or things I should look out for during this localization process?

Thanks!

Angie

Hi Angie,

There are a few resources you may want to keep handy for language projects.

For your Articulate Presenter '09 presentations to work properly with other languages, use the following localization guidelines:

Articulate Support - Localizing your computer for other languages in Presenter

Here's a good blog post to read as well:

Articulate - Word of Mouth - Localization Guildelines

You may also want to post your question over in the Building Better Courses section of the forums. This way, you'll have more exposure to your question and hopefully you'll get some additional feedback form the community.

Best of luck on your projects, Angie!
