I am trying to add a sound clip to each slide in my powerpoint.
I am trying .wav but this just keeps crackling when I listen to it back. t is not an issue with the sound file as it plays fine on Windows Media Player.
Hi, Hannah and welcome to the forum: A couple of thoughts and questions:
1. Do you hear the crackling when you publish the file? That's the first thing I'd check.
2. If you hear it on publish, I convert the file to .wav format (if it isn't a .wav already)
We should be able to get to the bottom of this. Of course, if you post the actual file (or a dummy file that contain the same issue), we could help you a bit quicker. Let me know how it goes. --Daniel

Hello Daniel
1) I hear the crackling when I preview the file over a range of slides and also when previewing only one slide
2) The sound is already in .wav format
I attach an example file.
Thanks
