I am using '13. I need users to have 3 attempts at a quiz, and have the highest score reported. Which should I use for this and why are there 2 extremely similar options in totally different places?
You can allow multiple attempts per question and multiple attempts on the quiz.
If you have both of these set to 3, that means that the user will be allowed to attempt each question up to 3 times. Then if they fail the quiz, they will be allowed to take the quiz 3 times. Potentially, touching a single question up to 9 times.
It sounds like you want the users to be able to attempt the quiz 3 times, so that would be via the Results Slide.
