Music Loops Skipping/Sticking

Hi all! I'm working on polishing up my very first Articulate course, and I'm having a bit of trouble with my music loop. If I play the entire presentation straight through (or skip around from module to module), the music loops just fine. However, if I pause the course for any length of time (it's worse the longer the pause is), the music seems to get stuck in one place and skip like a CD with a scratch. Has anyone else had this problem? Any idea how I can keep this from happening? Thanks for the help in advance!

Hi Sarah,
Just for clarification, are you using a "playlist" for the music loop? I assume that you are, but wanted to verify that before proceeding.
Hi Brian,
Yes, I am using a playlist for the music loop. I have one song, about a minute long, and I have that playlist set to loop throughout the entire presentation.
Hi Sarah,
Can you try creating a new playlist and see if that resolves the issue? I'd recommend using a generic name like "playlist1" (without the quotes) and see if that resolves the issue.
Also, I'm wondering if there's a way for users to decide whether they want to hear the background music or not. I think that (when it's working properly) the music loop makes the presentation feel more professional, but I also know that some people dislike background music in eLearning. Is this option available?
Hi Sarah,
Out of the box, there's no way to only mute the playlist. However, there is a "widget" available from a third party that accomplishes what you need:

Hello Sarah,
Did u find the right way to solve it ?I have the same problem and it took me server hours.
No, unfortunately I didn't ever figure that out. I ended up just removing the music to avoid the issue. Good luck!
