Newbie questions: inserting actions/triggers?
Aug 04, 2011
Hi all,
Excuse the dumb questions. I'm absolutely completely new to Articulate Presenter, Engage and Quizmaker. I will be taking some training. But, as usual, I need to do something really quickly and have hit some snags due to my lack of knowledge. Here's the story. Hope you can help.
I have a powerpoint presentation that was created by someone else. It was created as an e-learning program. It has a few simple interactions in it using animation triggers to simulate multiple choice type questions (click on the answer, get feedback).
1. Upon conversion, the interactions no longer work. Is there a way to add this type of interaction in somehow? Is there a click box type of function in engage that I'm not seeing? What's the best way to handle this?
2. Upon conversion, the slides automatically advance. How do I set it up so that the user clicks to the next page when they are ready?
Many thanks and I promise to get educated for next time!

Hi Noelle & welcome to Heroes,
Presenter ‘09 supports a limited number of action buttons and triggers. Please see the below articles for the full list, including suggested workarounds:

To set the slides to advance manually, see the screencast below:
Noelle,
Animation triggers are not recognized by Articulate. You could redo the multiple choices in Quizmaker.
Thanks everyone!
Very helpful and much appreciated.
