I am experiencing an issue where my course that I have built is starting to have sporadic individuals not being able to get the screen to interact? Most of our users are not experiencing this issue. Thoughts??
Hi, Ron -- Can you please share a little bit more about the issue these individuals are encountering or perhaps maybe share your Articulate Package so we are able to take a closer look for you? It sounds like you are adhering to the System Requirements, so any additional information would be helpful.
In a nutshell the majority of our users are experiencing success when they attempt this course. We have 3 - 4 out of 100s that are experiencing the issue where the "next button" does not act as though it is a link or function to take the user to the next page of the course. We as a company have updated to the latest version of flash. What additional information can I provide.
Hi, Ron -- Thanks for the additional information, and can you please share if you are using an LMS provider to host your course, and if so, have you tested the course on the SCORM Cloud to see if the same behavior is encountered? I know that Flash Player 19.0.0.185 has Caused Corruption in PowerPoint Presentations, and that this is how you would Fix a Corrupt PowerPoint File, but I am not certain that is what is causing the issue your small group of learners are seeing.
I'm curious to see if you resolved this issue. I just ran into the same error today with one of our users (IE 11/SCORM course/Next button not working/Updated Flash) and can't figure out what the issue would be.
Good morning, this issue has not been resolved. Our work around has been to have the user try another computer and that seems to resolve the issue. :( These same users can use other courses we have built using the same methods, it really is a needle in a haystack. :(
Shoot! I was hoping you were able to find a solution. I had the same the users switch to a different browser and it seemed to work then. While at least there is a work around, it's not the best user experience.
Hi, Ron or Karoline -- Thanks for reaching out! Could one or both of you share your files so we can see if we are able to reproduce the error on our end? If you'd prefer to share privately, here is the form you would need to do so. :)
Hi, Ron -- Thanks for the head's up and I wanted to confirm that your case, #00784650, has been received! I will take a look and will reply from within your case as soon as possible. Your patience is appreciated! :)
Was this issue ever resolved? I'm having the same issue. 1 out of 5 users are not able to click next in the course. The issue is experienced by those using IE.
Could be related. I am having trouble with my NxtBtn as well. (In development) Read below.
Slide X with 5 buttons triggered to another Scene-slides 1 - 5. The next button on those slides return you to Slide X. On Slide X a trigger disables the NxtBtn and another NormNxt when Btn5 is visited. All states are set on Btn5 and Visited = BluTxt.
Under "Preview this Slide", the NxtBtn becomes normal as soon as you click Bnt5 and the world is grand.
Under "Preview this scene" and "Published to Review", it never does.
Hmm, that does make it more difficult when you haven't been able to recreate the problem yourself. If you'd like us to help you test it, you're welcome to send your file to our team by clicking here!
I see what you are saying but I have never had to do that before. In fact in my project, the slide before the one I have issue with has the same setup except the btns go to layers instead of other slides. It works perfectly.
But I will add the condition.
Hey Brian! Visiting separate layers is different than visiting separate slides, so you'll have to set up the trigger a bit differently.
When visiting separate layers, the slide timeline never restarts. When visiting separate slides, the timeline restarts each time you go back to the original slide.

So sorry I should have hit the reply button, and failed to do that. Please see response in the next post.

Please keep me in the loop if you are able to find a fix.
Hopefully, articulate will be able to find a fix!?!
Christie, just bringing this back to your queue to see if any solution has been found... seems I'm not the only one experiencing this issue.

I have sent our package privately.

Hi Amber, sorry that's happening! I'd like to get a few more details from you:
Hi Alyssa,
I am using Storyline 3.
It is not yet hosted on a LMS. It's hosted on a web server for now for review.
I have not been able to recreate the problem myself in IE. I'm assuming the users experiencing the issue are on different versions of IE.
You were so close, Brian! All you need to do is add a condition to the "Change state of Next button to Disabled" trigger.
After adjusting that trigger, the slide is working correctly! You can check it out on Articulate Review here.
I hope that helps!

I hope that helps clarify!
It worked so it was 100% helpful. THANK YOU!
