We recently upgraded from Sudio 09 to 13. When I import a 09 presentation, I get all of the notices, it makes the backup and it appears to import successfully. However, I don't have any audio or animations.
Have you been able to successfully upgrade any projects? I have seen this issue reported before and you can check out the thread here as it seems that there were many different situations and solutions.
If you have not been able to successfully upgrade any projects, I would suggest a repair first.
