Notes on a Quiz Slide
Jun 18, 2012
So - I have been combing through the forums for this, and don't seem to see my problem discussed.
I am getting erroneous slide notes on my quiz slides. They seem to be from other slides in the presentation. We want the notes tab to be blank for quiz slides. When I look at the slide in PPT, it just has the "Click to add notes" default text - but when published, is has the notes from another slide in the presentation.
I am about to just type in the title of the Quiz in the notes section so that at least it shows something that makes sense, but thought I would check to see if there was something else I can do to make this work.
Thanks!

Hey Brent!
Mind sending us the files so we can take a look? Please create an Articulate Presenter package, then upload the zip file to our server. You can review how to do this here:
Send to Articulate Presenter Package – Articulate Presenter ’09 Help
Upload the resulting zip file from your computer to our server using this upload form:

Please be sure to include a description of your issue, your version of PowerPoint, version of Windows and version of Presenter '09, which you can find in Help and Support -> About Articulate Presenter. Please also include the URL for this thread so I can follow up with you personally in the forums. And feel free to come back and leave your case number here so I can keep a close eye on it. Thanks!
Hi,
is there any solution available? I have the same problem.
In addition on other pages I have the same phenomenon, i.e. if there is a page without notes in the PPT, then sometimes in the published version appear notes from other slides.
Thanks!
Hi Felix -
Unfortunately, I was unable to send in files because it was proprietary (I have to figure out some way of dealing with that - a lot of my issues seem to require sending in the file - but because I am working on proprietary materials, my employer does not want me to send the files - FRUSTRATING!).
The work-around we came up with was entering something on each of those slides in the notes section - even if it was just something like "Quick Check 1" or the title of the slide perhaps.
Not elegant, but seemed to address the issue - and better than notes from another slide showing up.
It seems like this occurs for us when there are long/large presentations - and perhaps (although I haven't seen this for a while) if we had deleted or moved slides?
Hope that information is helpful!
Hi Brent!
Thank you for your quick response.
I understand your situation since my files are most of the time also strictly confidential. Maybe I prepare a dummy presentation with Lorem Ipsum texts to get the problem solved.
Meanwhile, I solved the issue by changing the view to "Slide view" before theqQuiz starts and then after the quzi pages back to "standard".
Then the Notes are not visible, in addition I used your solution and typed something like "Quiz Time" in the notes section.
