Pictures won't display
Apr 29, 2011
Hi Everyone,
I'm creating a course and have used some high-res JPEG images that our company's brand office has supplied to me but when I publish the course all I get is an outline of shape of the image that I've inserted.
I've tried compressing the image in powerpoint, and scaling down the size of the image, but still wind up with the same result.
Here's what I'm talking about:

Is it possible the image is too high-res for Articulate?
Any help anyone can provide would be most appreciated.
Thanks!

can you upload the graphic here and let us see if anyone can recreate the problem?
Sure... here's the file I used... the original image is quite large so I scaled it down to 3" x 6" and compressed it using PPT.

and if you re-import this one you uploaded to your file, do you still get the same non-display result?
I used this one and it seems to publish fine and does show in PPT, Preview, and Published.
How are you placing the image into PowerPoint? I tried the file you provided on my PC and It worked for me...
Hi Dwayne and Blake...
I've just tried it again and I can now see the image too! I wonder if it's because I "dragged and dropped" the image originally and actually "inserted" it this time?
At any rate... thanks for the assist!

Glad to hear that you now see the image. Regarding the image files, Is it better for us to save all the images as png or jpeg?
