Here are additional troubleshooting steps I tried:

Previewed 3 slides at a time, had no issues.

Removed slides with Smart Art.  Still got error.

Removed all animation.  Still got error.

Took slides (with smart art and animation removed) and pasted them into a new PPT presentation.  Still got error.

Tried publishing as a SCORM.  Still got error.

Hi Stephanie,

What's the error message that you're seeing when trying to publish? Can you also confirm that you're working on and publishing local project files as detailed here?

If you're able to share the Presenter package we can take a look at the file in question. Here are steps to create the Presenter package.

Hi Trish,

This discussion is a bit older, and I don't see that we heard back from Stephanie. I'd love to understand a bit more about the publishing issues you've run into and what other troubleshooting you've tried. Can you share the following info with us:

  • What version of Presenter are you using?  You can check by going to the "Help" Tab -> "About Articulate Presenter".
  • Do you only hit an error when publishing for LMS?
  • Do you publish your courses locally and adhering to the other guidelines here?
  • Does this happen with every file you've tried to publish?

Let us know and that'll help direct our next steps! Also, feel free to connect with our Support Team if you'd prefer to share privately!
