Presenter 360 with Powerpoint 2016 automatically advances slides no matter what you do

I have read many discussions on this but none seem to resolve the issue and refer to old versions of ppt

looking at the "Transitions" tab there are features for

"Duration" 
"on mouse click"
or "after"

changing adding or editing these has no affect 

publishing for LMS 2004 

Like everyone else that experiences this i am going completely mad trying to stop the automatic transition of slides !@!!!!! HELP please
