I've inserted an FLV into PPT which contains 3 blank boxes for users to key in. One of the answer begins with 's...'. However, after keying in the letter 's', I am unable to key in the next letter, as the cursor automatically goes to the side navigation panel.
Couple questions on your .flv. First, how did you insert the .flv into PowerPoint? Did you insert it from the Articulate > Insert Flash Movie tab or did you use PowerPoint's insert video?
One thing you could try is disabling keyboard shortcuts on your Articulate Presenter player. Go to Articulate > Player Templates > Player Controls and disable the option.
Finally, how did you create your Flash video file? There are a few requirements for successfully running Flash video/movies in Presenter '09. Here's the details: http://www.articulate.com/support/presenter09/kb/?p=76
You'll want to be sure Flash is published as ActionScript 2 and that none of your AS code references _root or _level0.
Are you by any chance using a custom player skin? I've seen a couple instances where skins caused conflict between the text entry and Presenter player.
Thank you for your feedback. I've inserted the FLV from Articulate > Insert Flash Movie tab. I've disabled the keyboard shortcuts as you suggested and it worked!
