public & private users

Can we set the content item to be BOTH private for subscribers as well as public for any body who have access to the link? I have a guestbook attached to public content but now my private users cannot see it.

Hi Becky,

With Articulate Online, a content item cannot be both public and private. But in Settings > User Portal Settings, you can choose to allow private users to see public content.

Content marked as "private" offers more extensive tracking capability, including user and group activity reports. You can run general activity reports on "public" content; however, to avoid generic or "anonymous" attempts on "public" content, we recommend that you enable the Guestbook feature with First Name, Last Name and E-mail Address as required Guestbook fields.
