Published audio silent for some

May 05, 2014

I have successfully published a course for html and most of the users in my organization are seeing and hearing the entire course just fine. There are a few users unable to hear all of the audio. I have made sure they have an updated Flash version but they are still having trouble. I am unable to think of where to go from there with troubleshooting questions.

Any ideas are welcome.

Thanks!

Hi Heather,

As "h" suggested, it may help to have learners try a different web browser.

It may also help to ensure they're running the minimum viewing requirements:

Articulate Support - System Requirements for Articulate Studio '09

Articulate Support - System Requirements for Articulate Studio '13

It may also help to have them test audio outside of the course. If they're having trouble with audio, it could be related to audio drivers or something else on the machine.

If they continue to have trouble, it may help to determine a common thread. For example, if they're running the same operating system, web browser version and/or build, Flash version, etc.

Let us know how it goes!
