Can anyone tell me if there is a way to simply have the course resume where the learner left off, without a prompt asking them if that is what they want to do?
I think it is either Ask for resume or start from the beginning.
Hi Jeffrey! That's what I think too, but I'm hoping somebody may know a way around this.
I'm embedding one presentation within another so that the learner uses the embeded presentation to view scenarios and the shell presentation has links to other screens which would house information and resources for use in answering the scenarios. The downside is that every time the learner leaves the screen with the embedded presentation to view some info they are prompted to resume the presentation when they return. I would prefer that when they return to the scenario slide they would seamlessly come back to where they left off. Unfortunately, I think I'm going to have to come up with another way to develop the module.
Forced resume (resume without a prompt) isn't currently possible in Articulate Presenter. However, if you'd like to see that feature implemented into a future release, please submit a feature request to us by using the link below:
This post is from a couple of years back, but if I remember correctly, I ended up developing the module to function in a different way. In the end I think I just used the resources tab to provide them access to the information they needed.

Hi Ines,
This post is from a couple of years back, but if I remember correctly, I ended up developing the module to function in a different way. In the end I think I just used the resources tab to provide them access to the information they needed.
Sorry ...

Hi Ines,
The forced resume option is still not a feature in Presenter '09, but it is something that's available in Storyline.
If you're interested in trying Storyline, it's available for a free 30-day trial.
