Quirks when publishing in HTML5

Jul 24, 2016

I noticed 2 issues when publishing a Presenter course in HTML5:

1. For a page with audio and powerpoint animation: When the animation and audio begins and I tabbed to another program, the audio continues but the animation stops. Is there any setting to keep the animation going so that the animation and audio are in sync?

2. For a page that is an Engage interaction: I am unable to skip to that page using the left-hand menu by clicking on the link. Nothing happens when I click on it.

I tried both Chrome v51 and IE 11.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Hayden -- Thanks so much for reaching out here and sorry to hear of your difficulties! May I ask if you can first please confirm that you are testing the published output in the environment where it will be accessed by your learners?

Perhaps it would be more helpful to identify the issues you are reporting if we were able to perform some testing for you on our end. If you are able to use the steps here on how to Create an Articulate Package, you would be able to send it along via this form if you'd prefer private review.
